Medical negligence is a type of personal injury claim. It is care from a medical practitioner that is considered to be below an acceptable professional standard.

How do you prove Medical Negligence? 

For a medical negligence claim you will need to be able to prove the following: 

1. Duty of Care - we would need to establish the duty of care of your medical practitioner. 

2. Breach of that Duty - we would need to be able to prove there was a breach in that duty of care. 

3. Causation - we would need to be able to show that there has been some form of harm caused by their breach of duty. 

What compensation can I receive? 

You would be able to claim compensation of medical expenses, loss of wages, any physical and/or emotional pain that may have incurred due to the malpractice.
